Ierne is located on Ierne Island in the southwestern part of the Southern Continent. It's a traditional Weyr, unlike others found in the south, founded in the Ninth Interval in a volcanic crater. In anything but physical make-up, we're probably not so typical. Long-since influenced by the darker nature of man and woman alike, the Weyr's culture is one where most everyone has a secret to keep, an association to hide. There are yet the 'shining lights of hope', the 'good people' within the roiling mismatch of personalities prevalent in the Weyr. We're always welcoming of anyone in search of some fun RP. Though our IC reputation as an area that can be likened to a slightly less seedy Tortuga or the Mos Eisley cantina, OOCly, the people are very friendly.
